Notice is hereby given of the DIGBY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held on Wednesday 10th July 2024 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.
Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.
District & County Councillors' Matters
After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council
If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

b) To discuss the maintenance of public footpaths No.2 and No.9/2.

a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.

a) To discuss reported failures to maintain riparian dykes to the IDB.
b) To discuss the maintenance of the flood alleviation channel.
c) Update on the meeting of the Emergency group volunteers.
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (24/107)
a) Report of Monthly inspection of Play Equipment.
b) Update on the improvements to the playing field road.
c) To consider purchasing hedge cutting equipment for the litter picker.
d) To allocate 2x councillors to progress the Bowls Club Lease.
e) To consider work on trees in the playing field, backing onto North Street.
f) To consider installing a framework on the ground around the slide to retain the bark.
