Notice is hereby given of the DIGBY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held on Wednesday 13th November 2024 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.
 
Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council.  This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.
District & County Councillors' Matters
After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council
 
If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

a) To receive apologies for absence and reasons given. 
b)  To fill the vacancy on the Parish Council by co-option
3.  Declarations of Pecuniary Interest & Applications of Dispensation (24/164)
a) To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.

24/0654/OUT Red Lion Inn, North Street – Amended outline planning application, revised dwelling siting.

23/1429/FUL Erection of 37 dwellings, land off Station Road, Revised site boundary & layout along with drainage strategy and BNG proposals.

c)  To discuss building taking place around the village that does not appear to have gone through the planning process.
d)To approve an addition to the Standing Orders to include the delegated powers of the Proper Officer regarding planning applications.

a)  Update on the request for a Saturday bus service. 
7.  Highways (24/168)
a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues.
8.  The Village Hall (24/169)
a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.
b)  To arrange the positioning of the signage for the village hall garden area.
c)  To note work to plant new shrubs in the garden has started.
9.  Drainage (24/170)
a)  Update on maintenance of Greendykes.
b)  Update on the Emergency Plan.
c)  Update on the planned meeting with LCC Flood team
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (24/171)
a)  Report of monthly inspection of Play Equipment
b)  To consider any areas for the free trees on offer from the Woodland Trust
c)  Progress of the Bowls Club Lease.
d)  To discuss items from the initial meeting of the group planning the new equipment.

a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.

The Annual Parish Meeting is booked for 23rd April and the Annual Parish Council Meeting is booked for 14th May.
