Digby Parish Council 

 

Notice is hereby given of the PARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held on Wednesday 8th July 2026 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.

 

Public Forum

The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, this time allocation can only be extended by resolution of the council. This forum is not part of the formal meeting.

This session is to receive verbal or written comments and views from the public for consideration at future meetings.

Please note any issues raised requiring a decision of the council cannot be discussed until added to the agenda for the next meeting.

Members of the public are expected to be polite, civil and respectful at all times during the meeting.

District & County Councillors' Matters

After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council

 

If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

d)  To approve the new mileage rate for Clerk and councillors of .55p per mile as recommended by the Government rates and allowances panel as from 1st April 2026

a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.

a)   To consider and accept the Greendykes maintenance quotes

b)  Response from EA for a site meeting at the Beck

10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (26/111)

a)  Report of monthly inspection of Play Equipment and the update on the New Play Equipment Installation.

b)  To consider the results of the village asset inspection. 

c)  Update on the progress with the Bowls Club lease.

d)  Confirmation of booking of the playing field on 13th Sept by She Runs Lincolnshire

f)  2x requests to use the Digby football pitch 

g) Environment Agency – monthly information will not be sent out by email.  Instead it will be through the online engagement platform

h)  Armed Forces Week - Introducing Squaddie Box – each pod provides practical support and a secure postal address for homeless ex-servicepeople

i)  Lincolnshire Minerals & Waste Local Plan: Proposed submission of version regulation 19 consultation.
