Notice is hereby given of the PARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held on Wednesday 9th July 2025 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.
Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.
District & County Councillors' Matters
After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council
If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

c) Update on the request for improvements to the footpath on Lincoln Road.
d) Update on the Old Pond area, North Street, information from Land Registry.
e) To acknowledge ‘The Circuit’ is now the point to register the serviceability and availability of the defibrillator for the Ambulance Service.

a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues.
8. The Village Hall (25/114)
a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.
b) To consider any information from the charity commission regarding the Red Lion managing the bar in the village hall.
c) To confirm LCC Volunteers are going to help with the maintenance of the village hall garden in September, and discuss any plans and cost considerations.

a) To discuss the update on the maintenance of the waterways around Digby and the request for a meeting with the LCC Flood Officers.
b) Update on the drone mapping of the village.
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (25/116)
a) Report of monthly inspection of Play Equipment and to note the RoSPA inspection will take during August
b) Progress of the Bowls Club Lease.
c) To report progress on the new play equipment project.
d) To consider offering the football pitch to neighbouring village teams.
