Notice is hereby given of the DIGBY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held on Wednesday 12th March 2025 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.
Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.
District & County Councillors' Matters
After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council
If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

a) To receive apologies for absence and reasons given.
3. Declarations of Pecuniary Interest & Applications of Dispensation (25/040)
a) To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.

c) Update on Springwell Solar Farm application.
6. General Parish Matters (25/043)
a) Update on the request for improvements to the footpath on Lincoln Road.
b) Update on the poor emptying of dog waste bins.
c) To consider an amount that could be available for VE Day celebrations.
d) Digby Emergency Plan – A table top exercise is to take place with the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum to check the plans effectiveness
e) Invitation received to NKDC Parish & Town Council Forum to meet the new Chief Executive
f) Update on request to plant a tree on Beck Street
g) To review the insurance cover.
h) To discuss 33 The Hurn regarding its safety sine the fire.
i) To discuss checking the pipes are clear under the brick bus shelter as per the original agreement.

a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues.
8. The Village Hall (25/045)
a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.
b) To update on the Christmas tree lights information.
9. Drainage (25/046)
a) To review the outcome of the meeting held on 24th Feb with the LCC Flood Officers and partners.
b) Update on the maintenance of Greendykes.
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (25/047)
a) Report of monthly inspection of Play Equipment
b) Progress of the Bowls Club Lease.
c) To report on any progress from of the group planning the new equipment.
d) To review the ground maintenance contract for 2025-26
e) To confirm when NKDC Tree Officer will inspect the playing field trees.

a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.
b) Annual review of allotment rents.
