Notice is hereby given of the PARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held on Wednesday 10th September 2025 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.
Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.
District & County Councillors' Matters
After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council
If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

24/1480/Ful – Proposed site of North Street – The Planning Inspectorate’s decision was to Dismiss the Appeal.
6. General Parish Matters (25/144)
a) To consider further information about replacing the Defibrillator.
b) To apply for the NKDC Litter Picking Grant
c) To agree to purchase a poppy wreath for the Remembrance Service
d) To consider a grant request from Digby Parochial Church Council
7. Highways (25/145)
a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues.
8. The Village Hall (25/146)
a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.
b) Update on the progress of the volunteers working on the garden.
9. Drainage (25/147)
a) To review the current information from from LCC Flood and Water Manager
i) To comment on the installation of monitoring gauges and the training.
ii) To comment on the results of the drone mapping and how to progress plans to help reduce the flooding from the east and south east of the village.
b) To question EAs response to not cutting the Beck.
c) To consider producing a newsletter to explain the current drainage issues.
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (25/148)
a) Report of monthly inspection of Play Equipment
b) To report progress on the new play equipment project.
c) To confirm a football team will be using the football pitch from September
c) To consider approving a booking form to use of the playing field and discuss fees for use of the field.
d) To confirm whether work on trees at the rear of 23 North Street are carried out now or wait until tri-annual inspection to be caried out in Oct. Also to confirm agreement to SLA for the inspection of the trees.
