The Parish Council meeting will be held on Monday 11th September 2023 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.

Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.

After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council
If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

a) To receive reports on Members' Disclosable Pecuniary Interests in relation to agenda items and to receive any applications for Dispensation in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
4. Signing of the Minutes (23/135)
a) To resolve to accept the notes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 14th August 2023 as a true and accurate record of that meeting.

a) Update on from Historic England regarding the Cross and the adoption of footpath ‘The Smoot’ from North Street to Green Dykes.
b) Update on the painting of the telephone kiosk
c) To approve the purchase of a wreath for the Remembrance Service
d) To consider a grant request towards the upkeep of the Churchyard of £300.00
e) To review the media policy.
f) To consider producing a newsletter/information sheet from the Parish Council

a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues.
b) Update for the request for a new street light on B1188
c) Updates on the Community Speed Watch. A further set of signage is required costing £109.71
d) To complete LCC survey of parish drains
e) Response to extend 30mph restriction on Station Road to beyond the railway bridge.
8. The Village Hall (23/139)
a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.

a) To report any drainage issues.
b) To consider response received from LCC regarding riparian dyke maintenance
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (23/141)
a) To discuss the RoSPA annual inspection of the play equipment report.
b) To further discuss the dug-out improvements within the playing field.
c) Update on dog show request.

a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.
b) To consider the quote to repair the roads at the allotments
