The Parish Council meeting will be held on Monday 13th November 2023 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.

Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.

a) To resolve to accept the notes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 9th October 2023 as a true and accurate record of that meeting.

a) Update on the adoption of footpath ‘The Smoot’ from North Street to Green Dykes.
b) Update on producing a newsletter/information sheet from the Parish Council
c) Replacement electrode pads for the defibrillator received.
d) Setting of Policing Priorities for our area request from the Local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
e) To consider purchasing the Christmas bags for ‘The Digby Elves’
f) To review the ground maintenance contract for parish grass cutting.

a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues. Damaged/uneven pavements on Church Street reported.
b) Update for the request for a new street light on B1188
c) To consider any further update regarding Public Footpath No.5
d) Jubilee Way Footpath from North Street to Harrowby Close overgrown in places.
8. The Village Hall (23/171)
a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.
b) To enquire whether the village hall required financial support to install internet (item carried over from last month)
9. Drainage (22/172)
a) To plan a public extraordinary meeting on 27th Nov, to discuss the recent flooding.
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (23/173)
a) Report of Monthly inspection of Play Equipment.
b) To update on the progress of the Bowls Club lease.
c) Offer of free trees from Woodland Trust.
d) To revisit the improvements to the playing field road.
11. Allotments (23/174)
a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.

a) To note bank balances and approve bank reconciliation
