The Parish Council meeting will be held on Monday 9th October 2023 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.

Public Forum
The public forum will proceed for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.

After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5-minute report on the business of their relevant council
If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

a) To receive reports on Members' Disclosable Pecuniary Interests in relation to agenda items and to receive any applications for Dispensation in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
4. Signing of the Minutes (23/151)
a) To resolve to accept the notes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 11th September 2023 as a true and accurate record of that meeting.

a) Update on from Historic England regarding the Cross.
b) Update on the adoption of footpath ‘The Smoot’ from North Street to Green Dykes.
c) Update on the painting of the telephone kiosk
d) Wreath purchased for the Remembrance Service.
e) To consider a grant request towards the upkeep of the Churchyard of £300.00
f) Update on producing a newsletter/information sheet from the Parish Council
g) To order replacement electrode pads for the defibrillator.
7. Highways (23/154)
a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues.
b) Update for the request for a new street light on B1188, Community Speed Watch Equipment and the School Safety Zone.
c) To note response from the Countryside Officer regarding Public Footpath No.5
8. The Village Hall (23/155)
a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.
b) To enquire whether the village hall required financial support to install internet.
c) To note scarifying has taken place, is grass seed now required?
9. Drainage (22/156)
a) To report any drainage issues.
b) To note the IDB will be cutting the bottom of the Beck during October.
10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (23/157)
a) Report of Monthly inspection of Play Equipment.
b) To consider the quote for the repairs highlighted on the RoSPA report.
c) To note any comments regarding dog show.
d) To discuss actions required to progress the Bowls Club lease.
e) To discuss rubbish and grass clippings dumped in the vicinity of the hardstanding near the Bowls Club, and the trees that have died due to ash die back

a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.
b) To note when the repairs to the roads at the allotments will be carried out.
