Digby Parish Council

The parish council meeting will be held on Monday 13th February 2023 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.

 

Public Forum

The public forum will proceed at 7pm for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council.  This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.

 

District & County Councillors' Matters

After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5 minute report on the business of their relevant council

 

If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

3.  Declarations of Pecuniary Interest & Applications of Dispensation (23/019)

a) To receive reports on Members' Disclosable Pecuniary Interests in relation to agenda    items and to receive any applications for Dispensation in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.

a) To resolve to accept the notes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 9th January 2023 as a true and accurate record of that meeting.

a)  To consider setting up a Community Speed Watch group

b)  Update on Cllr C Harvey memorial

c)  Update on closure of the Mary Gresswell Trust.

d)  To consider fees for 2023 – LALC Subscription, LALC Training and Website Maintenance

e)  To confirm purchase of replacement Laptop.

f)  To discuss the proposed Solar Farm being consulted on at Scopwick, Blankney and Ashby.

a) To report on the site meeting with Highways Officers about Fen Road.

b)  To report the overgrown footpath of Forget-me-not Way and Church Street

8.  The Village Hall (23/024)

a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.

b)  To consider a grant to the Village Hall to go towards the cost of the insurance.

9.  Drainage (23/025)

a)  Update on the adoption of the maintenance of the flood alleviation channel by the IDB 

b)  To discuss the results of the Riparian project meeting

10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (23/026)

a) Report on the monthly inspection of the play equipment.

b) To consider improving the field road surface within the playing field entrance off B1188 

b) Update on the Bowls Club lease.

c)  To note the planting of replacement trees within the playing field 

c)  To update on the flailing of Greendykes.

a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.
