Digby Parish Council

The parish council meeting will be held on Monday 8th August 2022 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.

 

Public Forum

The public forum will proceed at 7pm for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council.  This time allocation can be extended by resolution of the council.

After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5 minute report on the business of their relevant council

 

If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

a)  To discuss public concerns about dog fouling

b)  To further consider a memorial for Cllr C Harvey and set a budget.

c)  To discuss whether a dedicated dog exercise area is viable

d)  To discuss the new LALC website and confirm access authorisation.

a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues.

b) To respond to correspondence about maintenance of Greendykes, New Flood Relief scheme and The Smoot footpath.

8.  The Village Hall (22/122)

a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.

9.  Drainage (22/123)

a) To confirm the gas pipe over The Beck has been removed.

10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (22/124)

a) Report on the monthly inspection of the play equipment and consider RoSPAs offer to provide inspection checklists tailored for our play equipment. 

b) Update on the new equipment installation.

a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.

c)  Central Lincolnshire Local Plan – Notice of submission of the Plan to Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government. – All councillors informed 28th July.

d) Dr Caroline Johnson MP- Q&A session for Parish Councils 9th Aug.  Cllr GG agreed to attend.

e) Lincolnshire Good Home Alliance project – Aims to provide advice & support to people to stay safe and warm in their homes by accessing services for adapting and improving homes, includes energy efficiency and support services. Currently carrying out a survey – www.letstalk.lincolnshire.gov.uk/goodhomes-alliance-pilot

f) Afternoon with LIVES – 15th Sept 22 at Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground.
