Public Forum

The public forum will proceed at 7pm for up to 5 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council.  This time allocation can be extended if required at the discretion of the Chairman.

After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5 minute report on the business of their relevant council

a) Apologies for absence and reasons given.

3.  Declarations of Pecuniary Interest & Applications of Dispensation

a) To receive reports on Members' Disclosable Pecuniary Interests in relation to agenda items and to receive any applications for Dispensation in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.

4.  Signing of the Minutes

a) To resolve to accept the notes of the Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 17th Mar 2021 as a true and accurate record of that meeting.

5.  Planning Matters

a) Planning Applications Received

21/0553/PNH  19 Chestnut Close, single storey rear extension 4.3m in lengthfrom theoriginal wall, eaves height 2.2m and maximum 3.6m

b) Decision Notices

21/0088/HOUS  The Grange, North Street - Retention of garage (Minor re-siting) as approved through 16/0043/FUL and use as a hobbyroom/workshop  Approved by NKDC

6.  General Parish Matters

a) Further infomation on volunteer Environment Warden (Dog Warden), which includes free training from NKDC

b) Update on bench installations and the bin at the playing field

c) To consider re-printing the Digby Village Book

d) To consider a grant to the PCC toward the grass cutting within the Churchyard

e) To review councillors areas of responsibilities, and confirm training booked.

f) To discuss the continued motorbike nuisance on land off North Street.

7.  Highways

a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues

8.  The Village Hall

a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.

9.  Drainage

a) Update on the work  on Greendykes.

b) Environmental Agency - Update on site meeting.

c) Update on unfinished flood relief scheme.

10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General

a) Report on the monthly inspection of the Play Equipment.

b) To progress the planning for the playing field improvements.

c) To consider the pest control contract for the playing field.

d) To confirm new Football club using the field.

e) To consider fees for 2021/22 for the users of the field.

f) To discuss improving the footpath entrance of the field from B1188.

11.  Allotments

a) To report on any updates from the Allotment Committee.

b) Confirm Tenancy Agreement has been renewed for the Allotment Field area.

12.  Finance

a) To note bank balances and approve bank reconciliation and sign off the accounts for 2020/21

b) To note any income received.

c) To approve the following payments

Parish Council meetings

19th May APCM, 16th Jun, 14th Jul, 18th Aug, 15th Sept, 20th Oct, 17th Nov and 15th Dec

From May unless Government legislation changes, councils will hold face-to-face meetings.  The Annual Parish Meeting is still on hold until public can gather indoors safely.
