AGENDA

The meeting of Digby Parish Council will be held on Monday 13th December 2021 commencing at 7pm, in Digby War Memorial Hall for the purpose of considering and resolving business as set out in this agenda. County and District Councillors, the press and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to join the meeting.

 

It is requested masks are worn.

Public Forum

The public forum will proceed at 7pm for up to 15 mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council.  This time allocation can be extended if required at the discretion of the Chairman.

District & County Councillors' Matters

After the Public Forum each councillor will provide a 5 minute report on the business of their relevant council

 

If none of the above are in attendance the Parish Council will resolve to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

a) To receive reports on Members' Disclosable Pecuniary Interests in relation to agenda items and to receive any applications for Dispensation in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.

a) To resolve to accept the notes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 8th November 2021 as a true and accurate record of that meeting.

a) Update on measures to reduce speeding.

d) B1188 The Arches - To discuss the maintenance required by NK.(CH) 

e) New phone contract required for parish council - Pay as You Go system finishing.

f) To update the Councillors Areas of Responsibilities and the Defib rota.

g) To agree to take part in the Christmas Tree Festival and purchase a tree.

a) To report any pot holes or Highways issues and discuss issues raised on the walk about with Highways

8.  The Village Hall (21/185)

a) To acknowledge receipt of the minutes from the latest meeting of the committee, and any comments, if required.

b) Update on the Village Hall garden maintenance.  The removal of the Berberis, consider a replacement broom and repairs to garden metal rail fencing  

9.  Drainage (21/186)

a) To consider the EA review of the Beck - correspondence received from EA

10. Playing Field, Play Areas and Village General (21/187)

a) Report on the monthly inspection of the Play Equipment 

b) Update on the grant application for new outdoor gym equipment.

c) Update on progress of Spires and Steeples footpath No.5 

d) To consider booking councillors on the training for play Equipment Inspections provided by LALC. 

e) Review of village assets - Visual inspection.

f)  To consider dog fouling complaint received.
