MEETING OF DIGBY PARISH COUNCIL
Dear Councillor
You aresummoned to attend DIGBY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held in the Digby War Memorial Hall on Wednesday 18th March 2020 commencing at 7pm for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting as set out hereunder.
County and District Councillors, thepress and members of Digby electorate are cordially invited to attend.
PUBLIC FORUM
The public forum will proceed at 7pm for up to 15mins, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council.
DISTRICT & COUNTY COUNCILLORS’ MATTERS
From 7.15pm each Councillorwill providea 5 minute report on the business of their relevant council.
POLICE
From 7.30pm the local PCSO to give a 5min report.
If none of the above arein attendance the Parish Council will RESOLVE to commence the full council meeting as soon as possible.

3. DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & APPLICATIONS FOR DISPENSATION
a) To receive reports on Members’ Disclosable Pecuniary Interests in relation to agenda items and to receive applications for Dispensation in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
4. SIGNING OF THE MINUTES
a) To resolveto accept the notes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Wednesday 19th February 2019 as a true and accurate record of that meeting.

a) To consider a grant to Friends of Digby Primary School
b) To plan for the Annual Parish Meeting.
c) To consider erecting 2x motion sensitive lights on the Village Hall to light the defibrillator
d) To discuss the new Parish Council website provided by LCC
e) To consider name for the new development off North Street
f) Review of Data Protection Policy
g) To consider benches for the Happy to Chat programme
7. HIGHWAYS
a) To report any potholes or highways problems.
b) To note temporary repair to Beck wall near The Cross
c) To confirm Highways have approved the D-class road from B1188 to North Street for development traffic
8. THE VILLAGE
a) Questions, if any, regarding the recent village hall committee meeting.
9. DRAINAGE
a) To report any updates from IDB or the Environment Agency. b)
10. PLAYING FIELD, PLAY AREAS AND VILLAGE GENERAL
a) Report on monthly inspection of play equipment from GG & AR.
b) To consider a teenage shelter in the playing field
c) To discuss thewest fence lineof the Open Space area behind The Hurn and Harrowby Closeand to consider a bench for this area.
11. ALLOTMENTS
a) Report from the last Allotment Association meeting.
b) To consider the costings for repairing the Allotment road
12. FINANCE
a) Note of bank balances and approvebank reconciliation
b) To note income received.

13. CORRESPONDENCE
a) LALC – Weekly newsletter. Distributed to all councillors

c) Notification that the Best Kept Village Competition will not be run by CPRE. A new local competition may emerge in the future. Distributed to councillors 26.2.20
d) NKDC Election Notice – Election of Policeand crime Commissioner for the Lincolnshire Police Area.
e) Insurance Renewal details – distributed to councillors 16.3.20
